"Good 'fat' vintage sounds" out of a modern mono WITH A KEYBOARD would be the LP (if a Voyager is not an option). I have an LP and there is no disputing this. However the LP is what it is, and being that which it is it is very limited in what it can do. Mind you, what it CAN do, it does very very we...

Good! That was a pre-morning-coffee moment on my part. I usually try to not react so hastily. My apologies to you, your family, your country, humankind, and all that is.

Regardless.. Irregardless isn't a word. You have to be kidding me with this comment, now, here in this thread. Get a life, loser. In fact, I am a little disppointed. the never ending feedback loop of recreating synths of the past really has always kinda bored me. I feel the same way about this idea...

So, when the server crashes again, like, probably later tonight, y'all can blame DB.

Hey, STG. I don't get the delay you're speaking of, either. If it were a prevalent issue I think by now more people would have mentioned it.

Not really. It does use the same CEM chips as the Evo stuff, but they sound different because Dave tweaked them differently, and the system isn't the same without the digital stuff in the signal path. I think you'll be surprised. I sure was... dB DSI Boy, the reply wasn't really good for my bank ac...

I should cross-post this comment here since this is where the big news was dropped: You know, I actually am already re-thinking the idea to trade-over for the P'08. I kind of like the delay lines and the digital oscillators on the Evolver. I mean, if it's the same voice architecture minus the digita...

Is the PS built into the box this time?

Irregardless - is there a parallel trade-in program available, too? That's what I wanted the PEK to be - for me. I love it, but, man the P'08 sounds perfect.

It's got to be a 5 or more voice simple Rev 4.0-like Prophet. The clues point WAY too much in that direction. It'll be like a PEK using the CEMs DSI uses in the Evolver, but minus EVERYTHING digital excepting patch-storage and MIDI. This to address the market demand for a modern, affordable analog p...

Since late May 2007. dB, Ravi, and DocT have made some very tasty morsels, with DocT (IMHO) having made the single best patch ever, which you'll hear in preset slot #1. 8) No offense, but I hope you guys drastically increased the quality standards on the presets - best thing I did with my PEK/MED c...
