Re: Wavestation Hardware vs. Wavestation Software Synths

but when updating to last firmware, still the same issue with these sequences? I have the latest firmware: yes, these persist. IF you open the box and check power supply rails --- those got overloaded, but everything else is still fine? As in: the synth is responsive and you can actually control it...

Re: Wavestation Hardware vs. Wavestation Software Synths

What is Your Wavestation model and the firmware version which You are using with that sysex? Classic "Broken: DX100. 01R/W" What is the problem with these? DX100: I can speculate that somebody removed isolation screen between panel board and mainboard, it eventually shorted and it's now dead. 01R/W...

Re: Wavestation Hardware vs. Wavestation Software Synths

I've programmed the WS extensively, including some fairly complex stuff, and never come across problems of this type. Nor have I seen any online complaints of this over the years, your post is the first report I've seen of this... Knock yourself out . Stuff that brings WS to its knees: - Back 2 Eld...

Re: Wavestation Hardware vs. Wavestation Software Synths

There's one benefit that nobody has mentioned yet - the hardware Wavestation is underpowered (the CPU is too slow) - which is pain in the butt when more complex performances are used - LFO's slow down, wavesequences loose sync or simply fall silent in some parts - a h**l to perform live. Not happeni...

Re: Stevie Wonder - I Just Called To Say I Love You synth?

Which in particular?

There's a little of K250 there, pads are probably from GX1, the Rhodes-thingy might be DX7.

I wouldn't ask if I knew they're out there. The good news is I'll probably resurrect my 01R/W cheaply, so I won't need an "emulation".

Korg 01W owners: a little help

Now that my 01R/W is officially dead and I got Motif XF (MOXF to be exact), I have a favor to ask.
Can anyone record dry samples that make A27 Analog Pad? I'm trying to recreate it on Motif - I almost got it, but still it sounds a bit different.

A shitload of generations, 4 main Motif lines plus 5 "lite" lines.
