In my case it degraded the signal, but then again that was the whole point

We tried a 3/4" deck as well, but that actually made it sound warmer

Great experience buying from the one and only Heath Finnie

Drove up to him and he was nice enough to demo a few of his beauties.

These suggestions WILL help: 1 - disable your synth(s) from sending SYSEX data when playing back a sequence. you are overloading your rig 2 - get a MIDI interface with a PANIC button if you are continuously struggling with similar issues 3 - sound diver for OS X: http://download.info.apple.com/Apple...

No, apple sucks for other reasons. Specifically their newest batch of Mac "Pro" towers and their recent behavior concerning the aluminum iMacs. I will be sticking with my dual 2.7 G5 for the time being until I am offered better choices. Mind you this really puts me in a bind concerning the timing of...

be mindful of wind. nothing is more annoying than a great field recording being ruined by a heavy gust of wind into your mic. i speak from experience, and have some great recordings of downtown NYC to show for it - though a few parts need to be edited out when i pull up the files due to WIND!!!

Doesn't matter if you're an atheist or not, it's one h**l of a great excuse to spend unwisely. I was planning on getting a TC Electronic Powercore Firewire, but ended up building a new 3D animation rig instead. Cursed priorities... Good thing you waited, because the X8 Firewire version just dropped.
