Re: Waldorf Blofeld... The Little Wonder Synth of The Decade!

I bought it the day it came out for the multimode and it was s**t, so I got rid of it... but I'm surprised to hear that it still isn't great... too bad.

Nova Musik has them in stock... If you call or e-mail and ask, the will give you a killer price... trust me.

Re: M-Base Question

It is so cheap, that you might as well get another one... however, the Mbase is a must have IMHO. Even the 01 is good... you don't even need the newest one.

Re: 'Thickening Up' Digital Synth Tracks?

I'm going through a radial JDI into a Great River ME-1NV... and I'd say that it isn't no magic box that is going to take some thin sound and make it huge. Good programming to start with, then the pre-amp is the icing on the cake.

Which, if we can depend on Korg's past, will drop to $400 or so after a short time.

Re: mpc 500

I actually like the 500... I think it is useful... however, ONLY if you do all of your sample chopping using a computer and you don't mind a few levels of menu diving. It's tiny, sounds good, and is battery powered. Completely useful IMHO, but not for everyone.
