Re: Roland Juno 1 Crackling sound... Synth fireplace?

Transistor or op-amp or even a bad power supply circuit.

Re: Nord G2 Engine distorted outputs, power problem?

You need a step-up transformer (available at Radio Shack and such). I don't think it has a switching power supply. If it does an op-amp or a transistor is going south.

Just a quick thought: have you pay a visit to Rolandus.com > Service for the user manual. They have an extensive collection (but they are missing a few). Who knows?

Re: Roland mc303 power problem

So I went and bought a solder iron and just resoldered the tenn, mixing in some new and it worked like a charm, powers up again. But I have another problem which is the buttons. Some of them you have to press really hard for it to react. How do I fix this? Has anyone had the same problem? Underneat...

Re: Roland mc303 power problem

First try to unsolder/resolder the power connector. Note that you might need to change it if it became loose inside.

Re: Jomox Xbase 09 Output Problem

Quite possibly failling transistor(s) or op-amp in the output circuit. A bad power supply circuit can also induce noise. HArd to say which from here.

Re: Tb-303 issues - won't play patterns

My first guess is also a faulty start button. But I'll try to look at the schematics for other possible issues.

Re: P5 battery replacement.

As easy as any other synth. Nothing obscure. You flip the cover open and it's there. Replace with the same type, which is common.
