johans121 is a great seller. I just bought an Evolver Desktop from him. It arrived in tip top shape wrapped in many layers of bubble wrap and sitting in the middle of a sea of packing peanuts. It works like a charm and he has all the manuals and an extra book about the Evolver. It was shipped immed...

Once in awhile I think I just want to stop recording music... sell all of my synths...buy alot of drum machine and just program drum machines for fun...which believe it or not, gives me more enjoyment than playing / programming synths, rapping, recording and all of the other things I try to do. The...

I was part of the their "pay for beta" test and I have to say, I was far from impressed. The whole thing is based on midiquest which is ok for some things but also has major limitations. It looks good but there is way too much window switching and you could not use the controls on the evolver to mo...

Keep 'em coming guys. So far I've been recommended:

-mpc1000
-su700
-EPS-16+
-Emu Ultra
-SP-303
-SP-404

& Kontakt

Anything else? Any comments on the ESX? (your comments aren't going to waste, I'm just trying to compile a list so I can start researching).

Sampler Suggestions....

Hey guys, I'm stepping into uncharted waters here. I'm looking for a sampler. I've been reading a lot about the MPC1000 as well as the ESX-1. What do you guys think? I'm not terribly concerned about sequencing the rest of my gear with whatever I get, I just want to make sure I get a flexible sampler...

So do I! And an AUDIENCE likes to see a performer doing so, too! Case in point; When I saw Thomas Dolby and BT perform last December, Dolby jammed on hardware and went thermonuclear, and the audience LOVED it all. Just a heads up to let you guys know about a Frank Ramirez. I sold my XTK to him, and the transaction was smooth and painless.

I would definitely do business with him again. (he goes by the screen name Frank).
