Yes! thank you.

Ideally...

I want to have my micron control absynth and assign the pitch bend and sliders to parameters. I want to be able to put absynth through an amp or record into my hardware recorder. Those are really the necessities. Which of those you listed would i need to get for this?

New to softsynths

I am just getting into soft synths. I am going to buy absynth. Loved the demo, just what i was looking for. Let's just say that i have none of the necessities for softsynths...what would i need? I probably already have some of the necessary items but just give me list and I'll check off the ones i h...

The MS2000r would be a good choice. I think the Ion would work as well as it is the ms2000's competor. Don't buy the 201 it's really not very good. You could do everything you can do on the 201 on the Ion plus much more.

I remember when i bought my microkorg 2 years ago. I always go into this one store and they always had the microkorg there, but it wasn't plugged in. I remember thinking "man, that looks sweet". I walk in one day and it's all powered up and I said "oh i gotta give this a try". I hit one note and i w...

New to soft synths

I'm just getting into soft synths. I'm looking for a soft synth thats good for pads. I've been looking at absynth. Would that get the job done for good atmospheric pads? Any suggestions would be appreciated from a softsynth noob.

P.S. The micron can be a midi controller right?

I have the eSx and the only way i can think to do it is to mic the drums and then set each drum to a sample location or something. That was a laymans description right there. You could also mic the drums record a beat and then make a stretch function out of it. please don't s**t on me if i said some...

Garage Band

I was in guitar center tying out Apple garage band. I was getting some great sounds out of it. It really enjoyed using the program. Anyone else have experience with it?
