You should specify what sort of sound you are going for. Or maybe you don't know? Anyway, all of my effects are pretty cheap and well-liked by me, so here's what I've got: -Ibanez DD700 digital delay -Washburn WSR-42 distortion (I like synth distortion!) -ART Proverb reverb -Boss GE-7b bass equalize...

I though you said you wanted a microkorg as your next toy. Oh, and just curious, where about do you live? Aren't MicroKorgs analog? I live in Northeast Ohio. immigrantboy & Hossinfeffa: I did notice the "hiss" inherent in these things, I actually find it quite charming - how about you guys? Bummer,...

They are going up to about $40 tops on ebay. Get one on ebay. I prefer the PSS-480 anyway. Tell you what. I have a PSS-460, give me a pm and we can work out a price if you like. Tyler, thanks for the offer! I've seen your setup and it looks amazing. If I really fall in love with my 460, I may take ...

Opinions on the DOD performer series?

I have a 585 and I know others here do too, but I was wondering has anybody used the other pedals from this line? I really like the grittiness of my 585, are the others like that?

I know it's a bit late, but I've hear somewhere that the Texas Instrument Language Translator will actually say word that you type. Also, HollowSun used to have a very complete set of speak&spell samples, but they pulled all thier free samples on account of that guy who runs that is a huge d-bag.

Well they had to. There's barely any dialouge.

I have a CF-7. It's flanging and chorus abilities are pretty standard. I use mine almost exclusively for its "wack'd" setting which sends the speed up into the range that you can't even tell it's a flanger/chorus. Sound more like some sort of cracked out ring mod or something. Cool pedal, but I woul...

I've never liked circuit-bending, and don't support it. Why destroy any perfectly cool, vintage little toy to obtain noises that you can get - without effort - from any software audio editor - starting with any waveform and adding plug-in fx ad libitum? In the end, it's going to sound very similar....

The closest I've got is that one of my friends moved into a house that had a ton of s**t left behind from two seperate previous inhabitants. The shed was full of old radio repair equipment and the attic was full of baby clothes and drug paraphernalia. In the attic we found a washburn guitar that loo...

Why don't you just get a poly800 and a bass eq? Everything is a bass synth with a bass eq.

I"ve never used a polysix, but based on it's features, it's pretty similar to the Juno. Does it need to be polyphonic? Maybe a monosynth would be different enough. I really like my MG-1, and it's nothing like the Juno, but sounds great with it. No arpeggiator, though. Novation K-Station? Has an arp....
