I dont notice any noise on my voyager from the backlight, though I have never payed attention to it either...I guess ill have to do some testing.
Another good mono? Cwejman S1, future retro XS, waldorf pulse, some sort of modular.

Re: What is a live synth-based performance ?
I used to hate all things laptop related when it came to live shows, but I pulled my head out of my a*s and understand there are many factors involved with why people would use laptops, so now I just try to enjoy the show for what it is. Personally what I do: I have a box, I call it the transdimensi...

Re: Andromeda buyer tips
I have had two Andromedas now, still technically have one in my studio, but I did sell it to a friend. It was my dream synth for many years, and I finally scored one, and loved it for a while, but then found myself getting very frustrated with it and even kind of bored after a while. Its very deep, ...

Re: how far will minibrute prices fall?
ive seem two sell for under 300 now, Id like to pick one up again. Personally I didnt like how it sounded, but the midi/cv control and arp functions over CV were really great for syncing my drum machines to my modular system.

Re: Size doesn't matter... or does it?
i have a room full of synths, and am putting a large list of thins to sell off, too many things, though i love them all...its hard to get things done when is so easy to sit on a single synth for hours making sounds.

Re: Swapping out the Andromeda
I'd really love to check out a Solaris, but it's over budget for what I would want to spend. I also had no idea what a Haken Continuum was until you posted that. Well for the andys are going for on ebay, you can come up with most the funds for the solars, but if your not looking to dd money on top ...
