playing a tempest in a 120ft tall grain silo....crazy reverb
Im performing at an event at the old grain silos in Buffalo, NY in a few weeks. I went there today and did some testing with my tempest to see what was going to work and what wouldnt, and this is what I got in the process. listen to that verb  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uaEfSkKPqw&featur...

Armageddon Party - Wizzard Storm Stick live at beach party
My bassist lives on a house overlooking a really nice beach area, he had a bunch of bands play and we closed out the night. It started to rain and it was pretty dark, but I set up a camera and got a few songs recorded. Had a blast and thought I would share it with you guys. :guitar: :dancer: :keys1:...

Re: Real time sampling in v-synth?
Ok, i figured as much, I have a Kp3, but Its very limited for looping, nothing over 16 steps, and it has to be increments of 4, which is the worst part, Ive been doing a lot of things in 7 lately so that just doesnt work....I didnt click with the octatrack when I had one, though may try it again.......

Real time sampling in v-synth?
Im wondering if it is possible to sample in realtime on the vsynth, i know I can sample with it, and play the sample in reverse and whatnot, but then I have to save it and import it into a sound to be able to really play with it. I was wondering if there is another work around for this, basically Im...

Re: CHEAP BUT GOOD SYNTH FOR ROCK GIGS
Roland V-synth, you can load your own samples into it, sounds good, its a little big, but very hands. I had a nord g2 for my live synth for many years, and I loved it for its size, but wasnt really able to make patches on the fly with that, and as interesting of sounds I got out of it, i was never h...

Re: Kurzweil PC3LE - Why not?
I have a Pc3x, and no you cant load your own samples into it which I think is the only drawback to it. The sounds are amazing, and there is a software editor that makes creating new sounds a breeze and really opens it up to new possibilities. i bought my kurzweil new shortly after they came out, and...

Re: Spectralis OS development is moving ahead...
Yeah, honestly OS wise, I dont think the tempest is all that much better then the speck was when I had mine, and I dont see nearly as many people complaining about the tempest. HOWEVER, the tempest is a breeze to write and perform with, I can have someone inexperienced in my studio sit down on the t...

Spectralis sampler
So I have never imported samples into my spectralis when i had one, and am considering getting one again...however I really need a sampler right now, and unfortunately I just did not get along with the octatrack... so my question here is how well does the Spectralis work with loops? I dont need to c...
