my virus TI could do exactly that, I just would need to know the patch architecture. this isnt to say the System 100 wont sound better doing it, because it probably will. I'd like to hear your Virus TI, that's one synth that's in the awesome digital synths category for sure Joey. I think if I had t...

It's a matter of sound preference. I prefer analog sound over digital.
Digital synths seem kind of soulless to me, analog has presence.
I don't dislike digital, there are some awesome digital synths out there....
Find me a digital synth that can do this...

i noticed the PEK lost a couple hundred dollars in resale value once the Prophet 08 was released, it's a great time to buy them just like it's a great time to buy the A6 used. I wish Roland would make a new SH-101, and bring the old 101's price down to earth. There's a phrase I learned working in s...

Painted black? Holy c**p, what are the odds of that  Your Clav C looks awesome man! ;) I am going a step further, and having my artist friend hand paint the Hohner logo on the Tolex & tuning cover. OMNI26, If you have pictures of the front of the Clavinet C with the logo that would be great! Pl...

Yeah I read both manuals and did all that. The screen looks something like [/ /] Numbers 1-6 light up when you hit keys, etc. Voices 5 & 6 seem to be the culprit, but 1 & 2 seem sketchy too, I don't know  When it's cold, it makes sound, no presets. When it warms up it sounds like s**t, or makes...

Why not just replace the chips that are bad? Then you can spread the expense out over time (if/when additional chips fail) instead of forking over for 6 chips at once. If you want 6 chips, it may be cheaper buying up a couple wrecked 106s and salvaging chips out of them. Or, maybe place an order fo...

You're lucky man, I wish I had it that easy with the 1 Juno 106 I have... :? Cosmetically, my Juno is mint w/original case, functionally it bites the big one  http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v426/tardis454/Gear/Picture003.jpg Every 5th/6th key is intermittent/dead, and it crackles (bad voice ...

Today I sanded down the case. It was a daunting 4 hour task, and I still have finish sanding to do! I tried sanding with every grit of sand paper all the way to 36 grit. It's the only grit that would break the glaze down to the good wood. 36 grit sand paper is rougher than beach sand you know!...

Made some progress today,...that is until the D/A sander I was using took a s**t! I finished the first round of sanding on the top and side panels. I need to fill in some nicks, and finish sand these pieces next. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v426/tardis454/Gear/MVC-635F.jpg http://img.photobuck...
