Im pretty sure that the jupiter comes with no cv in as standard, mine has no kind of cv in, it has arpeggiator trigger in, but this is triggered by an audio source, ie a rimshot.
it works really well..

does yours have cv in ?

Hi there, there are two options, you can get the kenton kit, which costs £300 - $600 - ouch ! Link here : http://www.kentonuk.com/kenton/retrofit_kits.shtml This is a good kit tho, and allows syncing the arpeggiator via midi clock... or you can do a DIY job : http://www.maaki.com/thomas/sas/jupiter4...

ive got a jupiter 4 which i love, and have spent time and owned an mks80, which is similar to the jup 6. The 4 is organic, 70s, dirty, quite modular sounding i think, not so good a poly stuff, ok for organs, some pads are ok..i use my obx-a for that stuff...it excels at arepeggios, leads, dirty bass...

but I'm seriously thinking about getting myself a fairlight cmi IIx system, probably next summer when I start working..
what's the street price for a IIx?

I reckon about four - five thousand in the UK..
They are still not cheap.
I would still like one.

Jupiter 4 kit..

That's not something that's ever happened to me on my Jupiter 4, if its started since you installed the kit, maybe it needs a service, maybe email kenton and find out if it is a possible side effect, or fault with the installation. I emailed Kenton recently to ask about this kit, and they said it wo...
