Sounds pretty buzzy. Definetly something Italian :)

But what is doing the sequence?

Poly: Jomox Sunsyn
Mono: Moog Minimoog Voyager (with a cool white+solar colour scheme)
Drum machine: Jomox XBase 999
Sequencer + wild: Yamaha Motif XS6

I'd rather get a Macbeth M5 than a Voyager, but since modulars are not allowed... :)

I'm on PC. FL studio never even crossed my mind, don't know why. Thanks for the tip!

Trackers? I don't find their interfaces very intuitive.

Software step sequencer for jamming?

Can anyone recommend me an intuitive and FUN software step sequencer? The more features the better, but I'll happily settle for something like a software version of a Moog 960, Doepfer MAQ 16/3, etc., just as long as the interface is easy and intuitive. I'd love to get a hardware sequencer, but I ca...

Great video OJ. Lovely accent too :D You're speaking too much before playing, it's really boring.... What in the world? What's with the whining? Thanks to Original Jambo's thorough, enjoyable and FREE synth report, you now know what the Cat SRM is all about, and you even got to hear what it so...

Short Sunsyn Sillyness

Here's a poorly played little ditty featuring the Jomox Sunsyn and Steinberg's Groove Agent drum machine. Some compression and limiting (drums, bass, master), otherwise dry. No musical or other value, just having some fun.

There aren't too many SEMblance demos around so your effort is very much appreciated. Doesn't sound very SEMish (and it's not advertised so), but it does sound nice.

Well, I'm not commenting on the presets, as I barely even touched them, but the general quality of the Pro-12 sound. I'd never pass judgement on a synthesizer of this kind based on presets.

BTW, If you are accustomed to a Prophet, the interface will kick a*s :)

Short Pro-12 report

I got a Pro-12 ASB today. Visually, it's pretty awesome and it feels like a serious and solid piece of gear. Tonally, well, it sounds pretty good. It has a real Prophety quality to it, and the analogue emulation is pretty good (drift, voices seem to vary slightly from each other). Yet, the digital n...

I have a Keystation 61es, which has the same functionality than the 49e. But regarding your problem, all I can think of is checking that the Keystation is transmitting on the correct (1?) MIDI channel. Press "Advanced Functions" and then press the low D key, now exit "Advanced Functions" by pressing...

Re: Softer side of Sunsyn

Everybody has heard the Sunsyn's aggressive sound, so I decided to make some softer demos... Sounds very much like a polite Memorymoog or maybe a Prophet 5! 8) I've never actually played a Memorymoog, so I couldn't tell, but I have to disagree about the Prophet 5 comment. At least compared to any C...

Softer side of Sunsyn

Everybody has heard the Sunsyn's aggressive sound, so I decided to make some softer demos, with reverb, for your listening pleasure :) Ok, the sync sound isn't soft, but I'm a sucker for sync sounds. Sunbrass Sunkeys Sunpad Sunsync feat. UAD Dimension D plugin I'll try to make some better quality ex...

I've been thinking about the OB8 a lot recently. Since I sold my P600 I'm somtimes missing that CEM sound. And the OB8 looks so good :) Got to stay focus and get that SQ-80 first...
