Re: Which synth do you think has the nicest knobs ?
Out of the synths I've owned, I'd say that the Doepfer Dark Energy had the best. Also I'm a big fan of the Nord Lead 2's high quality pots.

Re: Yamaha DX-7

They called it "simple" not user friendly ;) First paragraph in the second column of text: "And[FM synthesis is] totally unique from all other types of digital synthesis in that it is user friendly , and user affordable." ;) Honestly if you ...

Re: Behringer Deep Mind 12
The DM12 isn't even as nice sounding as the Junos it's based on, in fact I think it sounds completely 'meh' from all I've heard. It looks like c**p too, it is comically shallow (front to back depth) and looks like my grandad designed it in his shed... and it's a behringer. Is everything just about ...

Re: What's going on with all the spam?
Maybe it would be possible to have some kind of pop quiz before you can register a username on here, surely the spammers won't know a minimoog from a casio. Unfortunately, no one with the ability to make these changes is actually steering this ship, so the forum is going to sail where it goes...
