Assinging the mod-wheel of an Korg MS-10

I borrowed Korg MS-10 from a friend to play around with it.

Patching the mod-wheel to control PWM and Cutoff worked fine. But I could not find out how you have to patch the cable to make it control the LFO (resp. Modulation Generator).

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks!

My favourite strings are the mellotron-strings in the E-Mu Vintage Keys. I think they just sound beautifully warm. Not perfectly realistic (due to imitating a Mellotron), but as charming as no other strings I ever heard before.

Roland M-VS1 or E-MU Vintage Keys (Plus)?

For a box of vintage sounds, which one would you go for? Why? Alternatives?

CS6x, Delay- and LFO-Speed-Control

Hello Can anyone tell me if it is possible for a CS6x to assign the speed of the delay to be controlled my tapping the tempo with the footswitch? How would I have to program this? Would this also be able to do for the LFO-speed? This would all be really great for live performance (our drummer does n...

Yust another quick question about the Yamaha A-Series Samplers:

So with this sampler I can record a single tone from another synth (e.g from my friends minimoog voyager), edit it and then play it over the whole keyboard, yust like one can do with the voices that are stored in the rom af a synth?

Decent sampler at a low price?

Hello I am thinking of getting myself a sampler but have absolutely no knowledge about samplers. Well, I have a phrase sampler in my CS6x, but this is isn't a proper sampler is it? I would like someting that lets me play sampled voices over a midi-keyboard without just making the samples running slo...

I once read an interview with Liam Howlett, which has some nice quotes about this topic.

I guess I have to make it a bit more precise:

A virtual analog modular softsynth is what I am looking for (I want to learn this kind of technique)

My budget is around 300 Dollars (so a nord modular will probably be out of my range...)

My first VST Synth

Hello there, I got a new laptop, and I am thinking of getting myself a nice software-based analog emulation to add to my live setup. There seem to be hundreds of software synths on the market, freeware, shareware and commercial. I was thinking of a moog modular V 2. Is this a good decision? Are ther...

The Yamaha AN* File Conversion Problem

Hello there I have been using a Yamaha AN200 for quite some time and was thinking of taking out its built in PLG150-AN Board and stick it into the free slot of my CS6x, so I have a thing less to carry around for gigs. I was using the AN200 software editor and did all the backups of my patches with i...
