Re: NEW DSI Tetr4 -4 voices of Mopho In a Box!

... or we could think of this as Dave's Expander for the P08 to make it 12 voices with a sub osc.

Re: is 'new analog' better or worse 'old analog'?

I've owned so many synths over the past 35 years starting with my miniD I bought in '74 but for me it all comes down to what sound I am looking for at a particular moment. I owned a Voyager AE for 3 years and really wanted to love it as much as my old "D" it si a beautiful synth but for me I just pr...

Re: FM "Phasors On Stun" For The First Time.

We should all get together at a Nash show this summer, last time I saw him he opened for The Who ('80) or The Police Picnic ('82) maybe can't remember which concert.

Re: Synth too powerful for my amp?

Get rid of the original speaker, there are plenty of excellent speakers out there that will handle a synths lows - highs. Some like Jensons, other Celestions might be worth asking the question of what speaker ppl. on this forum prefer in their amps.

Re: Polivoks+ JP8000 for Prophet 08?

I would definately spend more time with a P08 to finalize your decision, I luv my P08 but and it sits in nicely with my other gear but I wouldn't want it to be the only poly synth I owned.

Re: Strangest thing you ever found inside a synth

couple of joints inside the miniD, no idea of whether my bandmates in the mid 70's put it there or the original owner or factory dropped them in to help get that vibe.

Re: Anything to check when buying preowned Moog Voyager?

I agree with the above and do go to the Moog Music site. It depends on the model and when built, the original Performer had fewer abilities than the other models, which board is installed, I had an Anniversary Ed. and installed the upgraded 3.0 bd which was a significant upgrade, later models came w...

Great work!! The CS-80 has always been one of my favourite synths, did you have much difficulty finding the parts?

Re: Guess the synths...

Who gets to make their one phone call to that late 70's synthesized film score expert eagerly waiting by the phone? I tried last night but today's digital technology just would not play nice with their analogue vocal devices. I tried calling an operator but IT from my side said that their si...

Did Nyle use one of his own Steiner-Parker Multiphonics with the 8 voice expansion unit on 3?
