glad you like it, I really miss the XT as it is capable of huge bass sounds as well as being able to get quite nasty and aggressive, but ultimately I just wasn't giving it the attention it so rightfully deserved. at least it sounds like it has found a good home. ;)

just bought a DSI Evolver from shaggie, prompt replies to my messages and got the Evolver shipped in a hurry, packed well and arrived in 100% condition. wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again.

A battle of the bands should literally mean the bands duel to the death onstage, using instruments as weapons. I think keyboards just wouldn't have the same swing to them as a guitar though, they're too evenly weighted, as opposed to a nice thin part to hold and a big body to crunch the enemy with....

I've heard those competitions are rigged, that the promoters have their winning band pre-selected in advance. Might not be in all cases, but I'm sure it happens.

I didn't get into making electronic-based music until '95, played guitar in a local garage band while I was in high school (mid-eighties) had an Epiphone SG (and several off-brand c**p guitars) and went through a number of various amplifiers. Took a hiatus from making music while attending college.
