I use a modified TS-808 clone for a bit of crunch and a fuzzface clone for more heavy overdrive. To get bone cruching distortion I put the 2 in series.

I also use a modded metalzone for ultra distortion, this is my favorite pedal.

Re: Clocking a CV LFO to tempo????

I have several effects with CV inputs and I'd like to sync filter sweeps/phases etc to a midi clock to get some tempo synced effects from the units (frostwave resonator/blue ringer, CV Modded Small Stone's etc...) I was thinking about the Kenton Pro Solo Mk II MIDI. Is there anything else you guys ...

Re: Roland TR-909 Help

Got a bit of a problem, Today when recording my 909 into logic I noticed that when recording the bass drum on to a mono channel that the top part of the waveform (when I zoomed out) looked almost horizontal as if just the top had been compressed. I thought it might have been something to do with my...

Tr-606
Tr-909

Dr-110
Linn 9000

poly800 doesn't suck... U DO!!! Oh, how true. I guess it's too complicated piece of machinedry for some people, so they really can't get everything out of it :D On a more serious note, though, I liked the lil bugger. I agree. Nothing wrong with a poly800. Those envelopes are realy cool. And it's di...

Re: another vote for the darkstar XP2

Without wishing to be rude, they were probably smoking their advertisers c*cks, same as every magazine available. When was the last time you saw something trashed in a mag? They never do it, because they are b**ches to the pimp advertisers. "So good, I bought the review unit." Yeh, right. SOS were ...

Out of the ones I've used, Spectral Audio ProTone is probably the worst piece of f*cking c**p I've ever encountered. Imprecise, lowest-quality-there-is pots, thin sound, ugly, boring to work with - completely useless! I kept mine less than 24 hours, I couldn't even stand looking at it! Than you nev...
