Re: John Bowen Solaris Synthesizer, heard of it?

Paid for mine a year ago. I got the light gray color with white lit up wheels. It will be worth every second of waiting and it will be a classic upon it's release!

Re: Some thoughts on the Nord Wave

Nice demo James. I liked your choice of sounds. About how many tracks or layers did you mix?
I can't wait for the Solaris to try some experimental things with it :D. Keep up the great work!

+1 on the Timewarp 2600. I've just got it and can't stop playing it. With a touch screen it's really fun creating patches. I have played Arturia's version and it misses the mark in comparison.

Just got a Kurzweil k250, selling Motif XS6

The sound of the Motif just isn't inspiring me anymore. I bought the Motif ES in 2003 and upgraded when the XS came out. I really couldn't get a nice piano sound out of the XS. The arps are nice, but overkill. I think using the k250 will be more inspiring for writing songs. It might seem crazy to so...

Welcome newmonopoly,

I've also pre-ordered the Solaris. This is a very unique synth. I can't wait for it's release. I've heard that some have cancelled their orders. That's too bad :( My serial # moved up  It'll definitely be worth the wait!

That's quite an honor James. I was offered the opportunity to check out the Solaris as well if time permits. I realize that Mr. Bowen is extremely busy, trying to get this "supersynth" ready for production. I would still love to have a go with it. I'm presently saving up for a pre-order anyways. The...

As carbon says, I had a major delay having to change DSP coders midway, and it's been a rea...
