Thank you for the information, may be useful in future, but at this moment I don't like to work with a computer, I prefer direct programmation by panel (in fact I use to program a dx7 by its buttons and sliders, I find it easier and less boring).

So I bought a Waldorf Pulse (red knob): it's my first analog synthesizer!!!!!!!!!! :D At a first look seems to be very fat, the sound which I was searching for. I like very much the powerful arpeggiator, it really can do all. Portamento is also useful. There are lots of parameters to edit, the first...

That pad at the beginning is a miracle!
I can't understand if it is from 99 luftbaloons or a previous song.
And is it a ppg wave?

I like very much the lead with the cs-40m, it sounds like Yazoo's music (or better ), full of character, great! But do not abuse of this lead, a listener would like to hear more variations. Don't like the bass part, it's just an "accompanyment", too simple, too much expectable: I would try to ...

So the pulse 2.0 and the plus version are not very different, apart the mii/cv converter and an audio in.
And earliest Pulses? Is there only a red knob of difference?

Differences Pulse / Pulse plus

Which differences are there between these two synths? Not only on "technical side", but also on their sound. I know only that the pulse plus has a midi/cv converter.

There are neither. The XT is all digital, as is the MW2. The MW1 is the one that had an analog filter. That said, the huge array of filter choices on the XT seems to make up for the lack of an analog filter, though the sound is a touch different. The XT can do traditional sounds - the last few wave...

Is it able the xt to play synth-pop sounds or is only for that typical digital sounds and weird noises? I would like to have good leads and strong basses, not only good pads and cold bels, as in the PPG wave.
Are there analog oscillators or only analog filters?
