yeah I just saw a Beat Garden ROM on eBay for about $200 us, and others for a little more or a little less. :D but I'm also thinkin that an E-4 series sampler might be had here for VERY reasonable cost--much more affordable than when they came out. Man those buggers are powerful synthesis machines! ...

Actually Ive thought of getting the Vintage ROM and addding in one of my Planet Earth's open slots. Last time I looked tho they were still pretty expensive. have they come down?? And I second that these boxes are some of the most fun fun fun romplers aout there for synthesis! Z-Plane filters rule! :D

I too saw the RR show last night. I generally agree with LeRoy, while it was a good concert, a lot of folks were screaming for the old stuff. LP sounded awesome, as did the Ric bass on "Bangkok," so much more distinctive sound than his Fenders. While AL is one of the best guitarists around, sometime...

I disagree. It's a MAJOR endorsement for a fine product--the first touring capable modern analog synth. And GL knows his synths. I wonder if he has a couple?
