Re: OBXA Tandulum caps.

Non-working switch in OB-XA:replace or fix?

hey folks, so two of the switches(filter mod depth, and OSC 2 mod depth) were not working on my OBXA. i've had several logic IC's go south on obies in the past, so i guessed that it was an encoding issue, but through continual depressions, i was able to get the filter switch back to working. so now ...

Need help with a minimoog model D.

hey folks, i just got a model D, and need some help. problem: there is a constant drone at both the phones and audio outputs. its roughly around F1 on a piano, in pitch, i'd say. diagnoses: -if i turn on the A=440, it doesnt produce 440, it seems to change the timbre of the drone. -the filter sectio...

Re: Vintage synth prices

@Mr Knesh Fair enough, but then why buy any new piece of gear at all? I understand your point. But I still disagree. I made a TON of music with nothing but a Roland EM-10 and an 8-track recorder. I purchased other equipment to modify the way in which I made music, but the gear was not the device wh...

From FS Elka Synthex thread

hey, would you mind doing me a huge favor? sorry to pipe in here, but i see you have a synthex out with a tech, and seeing as how these instruments are so rare, it would be REALLY hugely helpful if you ask him just one simple question: on the PSU, what size bypass caps are #1 and #2? on my synthex, ...
