Re: Elektron hinting at something new

This reminds me of Native Instruments' driver, which is actually pretty awesome. That's one of the wildest, hard to handle but musical little distortion. Works great as a distortion module in Reaktor. Analog Heat is interesting but Dent is more of my type and for way cheaper a combination with Faul...

That would be great, something like the iMS-20 with 2 synth parts. 2 decent mono synths will do it for me.

Re: Desktop Korg Arp Odysseys

It's certainly one of the nicest looking desktop module, I really like to color scheme of the white version. It's going to look cool with Live and Push 2.

Re: Korg Volca #6 announced

It's time for an official casing with a dedicated power supply for multiple units. Also the long awaited Volca mixer with Kaoss Pad and the MS-20 resonator.

Re: Seer Systems Reality (demos posted)

I remember thing that impressed me the most about it is the image of Advanced Technology. It's so impressive that 25 years ago, it suddenly came with multiple type of synthesis including PCM wavetable, subtractive, modal synthesis and FM, as well as physical modeling via the Sondius WaveGuide techno...

That would be a dream come true, or a modern version of that.

Re: Seer Systems Reality (demos posted)

I remember the very impressive demo CD, which is still one of the best until now. It's impressive what it could achieve 25 years ago. It was so advanced back then, a new vst version with modern features and interface is going to be interesting. But it won't be easy with so many competitors out there...

The V-Synth is the only Digital synth that I'm still interested to own one day, besides a hybrid like the JD-XA.

Re: Top 10 or more Synth Sounds favorite

While the hardware certainly sounds better, but meanwhile my favorite synth sounds came from these emulations: 1. Moog Modular V - Anything from Bass, Lead, Fx 2. Mini V - the same with above, thinking to get Taurus or the new Model D one day 3. Softube Modular - The Doepfer and Intellijel modules a...

It's AU and VST only, you need a host to run it. Ask AMT for troubleshooting.

Re: need samples from KORG TRINITY TR-RACK...anyone?

I'm a Trinity fan, pity that Korg didn't make the Legacy version of it. As far as I know, there is only 1 sample CD of Trinity: Link but I didn't see the patch that you are looking for. I'm currently using Falcon for many Trinity type of sounds, which is mostly more modern and happy about it. For th...

Re: Roland MC-80 vs MC-80EX

I own the MC-80EX, as far as I remember there are no difference between the two, but the sound board. I used to enjoy listening to a lot of midi files made for the SC88 Pro, since I love early Roland sound character. But for editing and sequencing it's not too intuitive, since we need to use Microsc...
