Re: Looking for that brass sound

This sound has that "fm touch" and I saw some live shows ( true live shows, no TOTP) where they used the dx to do it. It may also be layered or from a tx816. Few years ago I bought a "best of dx" sample cd for my esi4000 where that sound appeared but I ve never succeeded in finding it again on the o...

Hi there, Others are right. First you have to learn synthesis basics with analog . If you have midied your dx with your computer, dowload free analog vst instrument, many are free and you will learn all from that. You have to know how each wave form sounds, what is adsr, lfo , filters ( even if the ...

The SY77 can read dx7 format. Use SY manager, load your dx sysex and then the program will convert them and you' ll be able to send them to your SY77. Unfortunately, it can't receive DX7 II sysex as it contains performances and patches...

Thx for your scan Z but I still got mine but if you look at , Roland didn't mention anything about a sysex dump. That's miserable making such a good synth with a so poor manual full of hexa line-code and telling nothing about a proper dump. If anyone has a suggestion, you are welcome. Z thx again fo...

The fact is that Vienna tells me that it doesn't detect soundfont compatible driver but I don't own a soundblaster card , just an ac97 integrated soundcard. It does the same with both 2.4 and 2.3. Seamless looper is too expansive for me , I just got my bank account empty to pay the fusion...

Hi everyone, I just got a fusion 6hd and I'd like to find a freeware which can loop sample before putting them into the fusion. I'm also looking for a freeware to build soundfonts but the only free one I found, Vienna, doesn't work at all under windows xp. Can someone help me ?

I ' m so sorry Tardis, I went there and found my old disk box totally wet and all the floppies not usable. They 've not been used since 1992 when I got a Emax II to replace the emulator on stage.... Once again forgive me

Congratulation Tardis, you just made one of your best bid of a lifetime, great machine... My brother and I used to have an Emulator II a long time ago for our birthday and as far as I remember, some 5.25 floppies are still hiding under the roof. As soon as I can I check it and if I find OS floppies ...
