yeah....i guess it is the tediousness more than the difficulty. oh well, i guess i'll just work with my other drumboxes. i was just hoping to make this a more primary machine cos i got some new wavform carts for it.

RX5: pattern making tips....help!

Is anyone really experienced with pattern making in the RX5? I can do simple stuff, but when i try to making longer, more complex patterns, i usually end up with a confusing mess that i scrap and start from scratch. I usually make a few diff patterns that i record individually in Cubase and then lin...

did you check the voltage on the screen? my dx7 has that option, so i am sure you can check the voltage. Getting the battery replaced shouldn't be too much of a hassle.

i had to face the music myself. a while ago i finally got a new computer to replace my old windows 98 computer. i love that computer, but she just couldn't cut it, espcially the audio software. its really not too much money. i got my new souped comp for $350

hmmm....perhaps best bet would be to just get a sampler. a good solid rackmount sampler with enough memory to sample what you want to store and then you could edit and loop it. i use an Akai S1000 for that, but you'd probably want more memory...

oh i see. hmmmm....yeah, i dunno if i would say there would such high quality that i would consider them "on par" with external pre-amps. however, i don't know of any interface that would work nearly as well as a dedicated preamp would. maybe you could just get a good external preamp as well.......m...

do you have something against presonus? if so, i will stop recommending it....i just happen to think they make quality products and are comfortable interfaces.

then the firepod will do it for you......perhaps even the firebox which is a bit cheaper. all good solid quality firewire interfaces.
