Re: V-synth vs. V-synth XT

I'm waiting for a V-synth to arrive now...
Can't wait!

Feel a bit like the Packrat, overfilling my room with gear, really, I should make more music.
But it WILL be nice with a V-synth :)

Re: V-synth vs. V-synth XT

Is the original V-synth much faster to program than the V-synth GT?
And would it be worth to get an V-synth GT vs. the original one? (when compared in price)

Re: BCR-2000 SysEx programming

Thanks for all the help, going to try it out...

Think the custom firmware are way to advanced for me.
I understand basic electronics, but software is out of my area.

BCR-2000 SysEx programming

I want to control a Marion MSR2 with a Behringer BCR2000 and am wondering how to program the BCR2000 for sending SysEx.
Is it possible at all?
I've got the SysEx-codes for the Marion but need help to get them inside the BCR.

Thanks

V-synth vs. V-synth XT

I want to get a V-synth because of it's possibilities. But I can't decide if I should get a V-synth XT or a V-synth (not GT). I don't really have space for another keyboard (but I could always make some space). The XT is in handy rack format, but lacks of a Time Trip Pad wich I think I'll miss. The ...

Re: What Is the Sexiest-Looking Synth?

Wooden Knobs MicrowaveXT This is my 30 voices Waldorf MicrowaveXT - Final Revision (Board 3). I just refreshed it for more vintage look, using first grade Teak Wood as the knobs. This is what we call fetish... But I don't know if it gives it more vintage look, most vintage synth had plastic or meta...

Re: What Is the Sexiest-Looking Synth?

so, let's up this a bit: what are the criteria , you'd say, to call a synth "sexy" in the first place? Well, I think it's much the same as with chicks, a sexy chick isn't neccesearly beautiful and vice versa. We all know how a "sexy" woman looks like from the magazines. I would say that a Macbeth M...

Re: Are you glad synths aren't more popular?

My real wish is that synths are (falsely) proven to cause sterility and permature onset of Alzheimers and Tourrette's so I can pick up an EMS VCS3, an old Mini Moog, a JP8, an MS-20, and a Prophet5 for a couple of hundred bucks. Well, you have to remember if that was falsely proven loads of old syn...

It has to be the Moog Liberation, the sliderknobs looks great and it has an incredibly sexy shape

Re: Question For Owners of Juno 2 + PG-300

It do step, and the Juno will always step because the filter voltage is controlled digitally by the CPU.
You won't hear stepping when LFO is applied because the LFO voltage is sent directly to the filter.

Re: Hardware Synthesizer Sales Figures/ Worst Selling Synths

Always is hard for some innovative/prototype or radical products to find a place. Like the FIZMO. Also the Hartmann Neuron. Is a shame that such a cool idea like the Neuron ended on that way. Or very ugly synths..... the Akai AX 80 is a cool one. But it lacks the massive amount of sliders of its sm...
