I also have a question for derma_tek regarding drum machines, and anyone else who may be able to answer. You were talking about the Elektron Drum Machine, but would the Korg KAOSS KP3 pad be a good alternative? Because I've seen some demos of it in action, and it looks like a great piece of work. a...

And everyone is telling me Komplete (Which I have, but I havent ACTUALLY used it yet) has all the latest and greates...

I was thinking about getting a vermona retroverb, but might get something digital.

kurzweil rumour is my favorite out of all the reverbs i've used, it also comes with some simple multi-fx as well [delay, chorus, etc.]

I looked on a couple of websites, and I couldn't locate the Nord Lead 2x. Would It be better to buy a Nord Lead 3? Or keep searching for the 2X? Also, aside from all the hardware and software, would I need anything to provide the "beat" to the song? Like a drum kit or drum machine? Or do the recomm...

Hey, thanks for the reply. Would it be possible to get a few recommendations for software, since that is a big portion of harsh aggro? The only 2 software programs I own, are Logic Studio for Macintosh, and the Native Instruments Komplete set. well h**l, you more or less set then, those guys use FM...

Re: New Industrial Project, looking for some recommendations

Hey all, I'm looking for some recommendations for a synth. Following the guide, I will answer questions. 1. The most I'm willing to spend reaches a maximum of 2000. I have money saved specifically for my music project, so yeah. 2. Out of all the possible synth choices, I'm sure some are more powerf...

the nord lead 3 is by far my favorite VA that i've used, and i've used and owned them all at one time or another :) i find that i can make it scream with incredible ease, and it's really easy to go from nice and smooth to crazy and nasty sounds. it does both really well in my opinion. plus the layou...

jp-8000 vs. sh-201 [yep i'm going there]

so i'm definitely buying one of these, i've played a jp-8000 several times, and loved every minute of it. however... i went to GC the other day to pick up some mogami cables, and i saw the sh-201 in the corner, and decided to walk over an give it a try. i know the sh-201 gets a lot of flack around h...

i first read that you wanted 85 bucks and thought, "that's all?" i honestly expected you to say 100 dollars, at least. something like that would likely take me all day! well i'm not trying to get rich, just trying to justify the time involved, plus everyone [for the most part :)] on here is very he...

PM me if interested. $85 for four pieces of wood nailed together with a bit stain and some varnish. ok if you live in the usa but simply viable here in the uk. i'm not f...
