You can manually chain patterns though, so a whole song is possible. 4 parts is obviously somewhat limiting, but can also stretch one's creativity. You could always buy 2 of them ;)

No idea. I'm in the market for a new 16 track mixer myself & stumbled across this. It does have the same processor as the Lexicon MX500 so should be fairly decent. I usually use outboard effects myself so built in effects are less of a concern for me.

Try Waldorf Blofeld. I've been wanting to buy a synth for ambient music and dark droney music for a while now. I've been reading up on different synths, and even reading other threads started by people who want to make similar music but I feel like I've gotten nowhere. They either suggest stuff waa...
