Re: 8 Bit / Glitch

How about the MWFX Super 8-Bit or MWFX Glitch ? Both effects, but close to what you describe.

Re: On the importance of using "hot" gear

I use whatever gives me the sounds I am trying to achieve within whatever context I am using them. I'm pretty sure most musicians would be of the same opinion. Most of my vintage gear was bought when nobody wanted it, prices were cheap and it was all I could afford. I wouldn't spend anywhere near th...

Re: Moog Minitaur Analog Bass Synthesizer

Hi guys, I wanted to get the this cool Analog bass by Moog just had a question question regarding the setup. For the Audio output would you need to get two instrument cables or can I record this analog bass in mono via just one cable ? Any suggestions? The Audio output has an Out and an In option o...

Re: Yamaha CS15 vs Korg Mono/Poly

I would go for the CS15. Even though I'm a huge fan of the Mono/Poly, they are more prone to age-related issues than the CS15 (my Mono/Poly is starting to get a bit sick, whereas my CS15 is working perfectly). Also, as an aside, I recently bought a DSI Pro-2 which I think is pretty much like a suped...

Re: Korg Might Be Up To Something.

I don't think this particular forum represents the "young and hip" crowd anyway :D Except for Marc Doty And that's through hairstyle only. Who's that? There should be a re-release of the ARP 2600 coming. At NAMM 2016 it will be announced as the new Korg ARP 2600. Price tag around 2400USD. Yeah, sur...

Re: does the MC-500MKII really have 8 tracks? not 4?

That's the MC-50 manual, not the MC-500. The MC-50 is a much later sequencer, though it's software is similar/derived from the MC-500 series. The MC-500 MKII has eight phrase tracks, one rhythm track and one tempo track. Sorry, copied the wrong URL. Here's the MC500MKII manuals : https://ia700708.u...

Re: Dear Synth Manufacturers

If your main board is a piano or organ how do you intend to play the desktop synth, unless your piano or organ has MIDI ? Most people who buy desktop synths will own at least one keyboard with MIDI, that's why Roland et al don't put wheels on desktop synths. What makes you think that my board does ...

Re: Dear Synth Manufacturers

Dear Moog, Korg, DSI, Roland, Arturia and others, Some of you are probably reading this, thanx! Here is the idea: Please make a desktop synth with pitch and modulation wheels. I want to put the synth module on top of my main board which is a piano (no wheels) or organ (no wheels). I really don't ne...

No you can't. The analog filter (LPF only) can only be used with the analog synth part. The filters used by the digital parts are digital.
