Anyone got one?
I know already how it sounds, but I would like to read comments about its build quality. Is it solid? heavy? Are the knobs firm? And what about the mod and pitch wheels?
Thanks!

I use Solaris in live venues, and often get the local players feverish as they always ask what synths were used on that fusion piece? It's cool when I reply Solaris, most just go " Oh Yeah, that one." When actually they are embarrased to admit that they are just your basic Receptor cats w/ your bas...

"Why don't you buy a real instrument?" "Why don't you play real music?" "Why do you use a fake instrument? and not a real piano?" I hear this all the time  In the 90ies, the "more is better" argument was really annoying: "My synth is better because it has 1000 presets! 128 voices polyphony! a...

As far as the Radias doing what this will do? ...I don't think so. The Radias is a great synth and a classic in it's own rights but it ain't no Waldorf. Hats off to Korg for mastering the non-aliasing sound with the Radias, R3 and M3, but there is something about the way a Waldorf handles wavetable...

The thing is that all the pics of this have been prototypes... and the features were subject to change... so hopefully the bigger price tag means they beefed it up a bit... maybe by adding some ins or multi-outs etc. Nothing new I'm afraid. The "techincal" specifications are fixed since a long time...

Re: DSP revolution?
The coming Waldorf Blofeld had me thinking; due to the incredibly low price tag - has there been some kind of DSP revolution lately? I mean, a synth with the Blofelds spec would have easily cost at least 3 or 4 times as much only few years back. Indeed it is alot cheaper than for instance Korgs R3,...

So, still no news on this synth? :-k I don't understand why it takes so long. It's not like they have to build something from scratch... The Blofeld is just a Micro Q with a new user interface and a faster processor.... it was anounced for June, then September, now for December... it's getting bori...

Is this how korg normally releases their c**p? I've yet to see an actual image of one. I don't know if it's c**p... but all the pictures are real. http://www.korg.co.uk/images/gallery/dance_dj/kaossilator/images/KAOSSILATOR_front.jpg http://www.korg.co.uk/images/gallery/dance_dj/kaossilator/images/...
