Logic Express arpeggiator

Hello Everybody, I'd like to ask You to help me with Logic Express 7 arpeggiator. First of all - any quick step-by-step guide how to effectively "connect" it to a track would be welcome. I seem to know how to but always end up with different kinds of problems... The main one is with Key Limit option...

Check if the tracks which change the sounds are sent to internal TG. (SETUP - to TG ON) Two days after I sold my RM1x the guy who bought it complaint about the same problem. I didn't know how to help him, because I never had such an issue. But then he told me he found out what to do. He said that he...

Does anybody know anything about EDIROL M-100 Fx? It's got the ability to be connected by USB to the computer, but it's said to be designed for video producers. It's got the inputs I need (for recording hardware synth - probably one at a time, not a whole orchestra.) and some FX.

I'm trying to help you the best I can, but you are making it very difficult. What is it that you want LE7 to do? What do you want from Logic? Do you have the money for LP7? If so then buy LP7. If you don't, then get LE7. The upgrade from LE7 to LP7 is the difference between them if you had just end...

Thank You for Your advice. I have to use the opportunity to ask those of You who use Logic Express 7 a question I'm trying to find an answer for for some time: What does it mean that Logic Express (in opposite to Pro) does not have a feature like "external instruments" (the comparison of the two on ...

not expensive audio interface

Hello, I need to buy an audio interface - if anyone can provide me with some advice, I'd be grateful :) I can buy Edirol UA 25 for about 200 $. Do You think it's a good idea? Anybody's got experience with this interface? Let me add, that: - I need to be able to record in stereo my synth(s) and groov...

That's great :) Maybe You know then what it can mean that LE7 has no feature like "external instruments"??? There is a comparison between Express and Pro version and under "External Instruments" there's no mark in the Express' column... I believe "external instruments" are midi hardware instruments...

I have the Korg Legacy Collection (analog version)/ Novation BassStation/ iDrum and Arturia's minimoog V and I have no problems with any of these in LE7. All were purchased and are not demos, which really shouldn't matter anyways. That's great :) Maybe You know then what it can mean that LE7 has no...

JSRockit, could You please tell me some details about Your way of using Logic Express, Your computer's specs and generally what do You think about it? I'm just about to buy a notebook, probably with this DAW software and I'm trying to find out if it will suit my needs. Let me add that I used to use ...

yes, you can sequence your MIDI synths, and all you need is a MIDI-USB cable. What does it mean then that Logic Express has no feature like "external instruments"? It can control external (hardware) gear so I guess it means that You can't use any other virtual instruments than those included in it,...

Thanx. So I guess that's a beeter choice than a little beat-up PowerBook G4... Maybe a little more expensive but brand new. That's great that You could share Your experience, the guy at the Apple store almost convinced me that a non-pro MacBook is too weak (not in its specs but in the over-all, from...

1. Yes, I run a macbook with Pro Tools and Live and it's fantastic. There was a noticable performance boost from my old G5, and people are still fine using them for music. The only negative about the macbook is the small screen (but that's the trade off for portability) and there were a few issues ...

One more question: When reading about Logic Express I started to wander if it is possible to use its sequencer with external hardware (just like in my original post - to control Wavestation A/D for example)? I have no doubts about the Pro version but what about Express? And what do You think about A...
