Re: Akai MINIAK

Now if only they would reissue those old ModFX boxes... That'll never happen. Those things bombed horribly when they were put onto the market. I'd guess it was one of, if not the worst, bomb in their product history. They were closing these things out at like 80-90% off everywhere they were sold ju...

Re: Rozzbox V.2 Discontinued

What are the differences between the V2 and the original Rozzbox? I have an original version I picked up second hand a few years ago, through here I think, actually. Pretty neat little synth, though it (or rather mine, not sure if they all did) had a ghost in the machine or something, as it was very...

I like Andy's "little Phatty meets big phatty" pic. Reminds me of myself standing if front of my synths, LOL. Good idea, Matt. Plus its fun to just F5 and see all the different photos.

The mobius you can buy new here in the UK from Analogue Addiction at a cost of £500!!!! I was gonna buy one but changed my mind. You guys should really take advantage of the US dollar being shite. The mobius is $399US new and I can't imagine that it would cost more than $50US to ship to the UK. So ...

Another Ebay person who pegs synths with artificially high prices is "wavstudios" or whatever his username is. I'm sure you guys have seen it.. Anytime I see an extremely overpriced synth on Ebay I say to myself "I bet it's wavestudios" and sure enough, 9 times out of 10 it is. Haha, I gotta agree ...

I don't see a lot of oscilloscopes in synths *no offense ;)* ...oscillators lack of focus http://www.doepfer.de/a1972.htm ;) While the picture on the Doepfer site shows the complete mounted scope, the A-197-2 is actually just a mounting kit to make the Velleman VPS10 LCD scope fit into a Doepfer ra...

*shakes fist*

If I was on the west coast, I would have jumped on those in a second. I'm glad to hear that you got them both back up and running. The Synthex is one of the only synths on my GAS list, one day she will be mine.
