I am still a bit confused about who this is marketed toward. When I first saw it (before details were really available) I assumed it would be the monome crowd, but with $1000+ pricetag, limited midi control, rompler, speakers, etc., it is obviously not the monome crowd. I can't really figure out who...

No offence Tyler, but I don't think you are at all qualified to comment on any topic regarding ethics. You have made comments on more than one occasion about how you routinely steal, shop-lift, etc like it is a perfectly OK thing to do. :? PS-I think a lot of people would have a different definition...

The other side I can think of is if you spent a fair amount on building the synth, nice case, nice manufactured front panel, etc. You come on hard times and now your conflicted on selling it. That is a different story altogether. If that is the case, you can simply sent a request over to Thorsten e...

$1200...they are out of their minds (that price is twice as much as what they intitially said it would be no?). No. The original projected price was 600 GBP . 600 GBP is $1200 US dollars. You forgot the conversion. Nevertheless, this thing is definitely overpriced IMO, you can build a monome for wh...

I think it is fair to say to anyone that knows about blue_lantern or his reputation that he is an asshole opportunist of the highest order. He is known to steal other peoples work and sell it on ebay or other forums or classifieds. Unfortunately this is not the first time he has done this and it wil...

I don't really think that 50% of the value of the PEK (over $1000) is really taking a "small hit" That is a pretty big hit, but if thats what he wanted, it is his decision to make.

You might want to email or call over to bigcitymusic to check availability, but it looks like they have them in stock. I have never bought anything from them before, but I know people who have and they have been satisfied.

They are pretty cheap here in the states, usually around $200 US or less (so about 99 GBP)

Edit: looks like Jumbo beat me to it!

+2 for the Waldorf Edition. For only $75 you get not only the excellent Attack drum synth but also the D-pole filter plug-in and the PPG Wave softsynth. This is one of the best deals out there IMO.

Gameboy camera synthesizer? Probably the cheapest, at least.

(got my gameboy free, got the camera at a garage sale for $3 with printer+paper, can't beat that  )

Remeber the FR XS? They announced that two years ago and we still have not seen anything. What about this? http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=D8A970D15B00320A Yeah, that was winter namm '07. They also had one at winter namm '06 a full year earlier. Unless I am missing something, this thing is ...
