Very nice tune though.

a couple things to note: - building/designing your own analog synth will not save you any money, especially if your time is worth anything. Saving money all depends on how much DIY you do and what parts you use. If you buy complete parts kits or use fancy Schaeffer panels you won't save much. If yo...

 I didn't see it. I was going by a third-hand report that it was "big, black and old"

Every time it's garbage night and I see peoples crummy old tables and cabinets out on the curb I imagine one of them will be a Korg PS-3300. When I caught wind of a "big, black and old" Yamaha synth at a nearby pawnshop I excitedly called the shop asking how much the guy wanted for his CS-30. He wan...

If I had to start over I would try to have somewhere to put a computer and monitors, instead of just a box made out of keyboards  Thing is my "studio" started out just as a jamming/practise area for my band, but as soon as I added the first synth, things started getting out of hand. Now I'm all...

Pffffffffft. Tell that to Muzikelektronix.

Bluesynths has the service manual: http://www.bluesynths.com/modules.php?name=Manuals

Check page 9. I'd guess it's just a matter of cutting the trace that goes to pin 27 on IC13. I'm no engineer (yet), so I can't recommend that you do it though until you verify with someone smarter than me

Me too. It's just the sweetest sounding synth I've ever heard. Even making cheesy techno chord memory arpeggios on it is fun :D

Have you tested everything else on the patchbay to make sure the CV inputs are working correctly? It`s good that the signal goes through and the envelope follower/trigger works. Looking at the schematic , you can see that cuts your trouble area down quite a bit. Do you have any test equipment/experi...

I`ve gotten mine to track guitar well pretty much all the way up the fretboard, but only on one or two strings at a time, ie. If it is set to track well on the treble strings, it will have to be readjusted before it will track on the bass strings. Due to the different harmonics I guess. It`s also fu...
