Voice Out Cable For Akai X7000

Hi,

I have an Akai X7000 and an AX-60. I would like to run the sampler into the synth. Does anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced cable to connect the two units?

Re: Korg Prophecy OS Upgrade

I'd like to say "Thank You" to and recommend user jxalex. He reached out to me because of my question here and provided me OS 20 EPROMS at a great price and very quickly shipped them to me from Sweden to the US. I really appreciate it when fellow synth users lookout for each other. If you're looking...

Re: Korg Prophecy OS Upgrade

Hello,

I'll be purchasing a Korg Prophecy soon and I was wondering if anyone has a source for the version 20 OS. I've seen them on eBay and I've contacted Korg support (they no longer have them). Does anyone know where I could find it?

Re: Roland TR-77 Original Sounds

Thank you@gcoudert. That's the idea I had in mind but I was wondering if there was any other method too.

Roland TR-77 Original Sounds

Hello, Years ago I was given a Roland TR-77. I didn't care to much for it at the time because it didn't have any way to sync with my MIDI setup. I opened it up and adjusted the dial for the tuning for the sounds. Now I would like to bring back the original sound of the TR-77. Are there any suggestio...

Re: Roaches and bedbugs in my mixer....maybe.

Have you opened it up to see if there are signs of insects inside? I'd do that first. I haven't opened it up yet. I don't want to take it into the house, just in case there are bugs inside. I don't want to risk an infestation. Do you think a bug bomb (aerosol insecticide) would harm the mixer? Afte...

Roaches and bedbugs in my mixer....maybe.

I purchased a Mackie 32x8x2 mixer last night and the person I bought it from didn't seem to clean. I was wondering if there are any tips that I could use to make sure I don't bring any bugs into my house. I was thinking of wrapping the mixer in a plastic bag and setting off a bug bomb to see it that...

Re: Choosing a DAW

Just to be clear, parameter automation and patch editing are two different things. Live will record MIDI CC which will automate most synths, but you will need MIDIQuest to do patch editing since that is always SysEx. I think that is what I'm looking for. I'll be satisfied with programming the patch...

Re: Choosing a DAW

Can Midi Quest be integrated into Ableton Live? If so that looks like it may handle most of my needs. What I would like to have is a few controller keyboards with knobs and sliders, a Behringer BCR2000, and a Phat Boy controller and use these to make changes to my hardware. I would also like to be a...

Choosing a DAW

I would like to find a DAW that will be the "control center" for my studio. What I have in mid is something that not only handles audio and MIDI very well, but also something that I could use as a programmer for my external gear (synths, drum machines efx). Is something like this available? Also, I'...

Thank you Z. But I need something that custom agents can open and close easily to inspect the contents of the case.

Korg MS-20 100V question

I'm looking to buy a used MS-20 and the seller has one that is a 100V Japanese model. We both live in Michigan but I am curious if I'll have to use any power converters with this Japanese model or if it is safe to plug it in to my regular wall power socket.

They're not in New York, but threewavemusic.com in New Jersey is awesome.
