Re: TR-909 for Cheap?

I just picked one up today with a Korg Mono/Poly for $2500 in Michigan. They were listed separately for $3900 for the 909 and $1800 for the Korg. After about 2 weeks of haggling, I got the price down to $2500 for both. They look good but they have some scratchy pots but I thinkI got a nice deal.

Re: Help locating a sample CD

The instruments are mostly FM synth sounds with reverb, delay and distortion. What I'm trying to get are the percussion sounds. They are geared toward industrial sounds. The booklet that I have calls the CD the Digital Excellence Sample Collection. It states that it was produced in May 1990.

Help locating a sample CD

I have a sample CD called DSM Digital. It was engineered by Dan Schmidt. My problem is I cracked the CD and can no longer play or extract audio from it. Does anyone know where I can purchase another copy or does anyone have the CD? Thanks.

Re: Yamaha MR-10 bass drum trigger input question.

Are you the same FX23 that's on GearSlutz? If so, were you able to find the mods for the MR-10?

Re: Yamaha MR-10 bass drum trigger input question.

I have the trigger out (of either the Korg KR55 or Roland TR-707) plugged in to the bass drum trigger in on the MR-10. The audio output of the MR-10 is plugged in to a mixer channel. This works fine. The bass drum is triggered on the MR-10 when I press play on the KR55 or when I tap the Rim button o...

Yamaha MR-10 bass drum trigger input question.

I'm trying to trigger the bass drum on my Yamaha MR-10. I can trigger it using the trigger out of a Korg-KR55 and the TR-707. But when I plug the output of the triggering machines in, it no longer triggers the MR-10. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Are there any Synth places in Philadelphia?

Thanks sequentialsoftshock. Cool to me in this case is a dive style bar that serves cheap beer and plays 80s (Depeche Mode,New Order or Skinny Puppy) or early 90s electronic music.
I didn't know where to post so any moderator feel free to move this to the appropriate forum.

Mu-Tron Micro V power supply question

Does anyone know the specifications of the Mu-Tron Micro V power supply? All I can find is that it's a 9V. What is the polarity, amp requirements and is it AC or DC? Thanks.

Are there any Synth places in Philadelphia?

I'm going to be in Philadelphia and would like to know if there are any music stores that sell used synths or related gear. Also a bit off topic are there any cool bars that play 80s music? Thanks.

Re: Help me find an audio interface.

What about the PreSonus 2626? Has anyone used it? From reading reviews and forums, it seems like the only problems would be getting the proper FireWire interface. Thanks for the guidance.

Ah, you clicked the big DOWNLOAD button. The ad link.. Sorry. It's like that with free services. Whatever you installed, remove it. On the filesend site there is a countdown timer in the lower left corner, after the count the download button will appear. That is the correct one. ;)[/quote] Dom...
