Re: Fairlight IIx library, floppy conversion! UPDATED 13.01.

Ah, you clicked the big DOWNLOAD button. The ad link.. Sorry. It's like that with free services. Whatever you installed, remove it. On the filesend site there is a countdown timer in the lower left corner, after the count the download button will appear. That is the correct one. ;)[/quote] Dom...

Re: Knobby Controller Question

The Behringer BCR2000 is almost perfect but he would prefer something with a smaller footprint (and price tag for that matter). He wants a separate surface for each device. The BCR2000 is great because it doesn't need a computer after it's programmed. Can other (smaller) devices be used in conjuncti...

Re: Knobby Controller Question

I knew the NanoKontrol had to be set up with a computer, but does it need to be connected to the computer in order to work after that? Is there something that is closer to the size (and price range)of the NanoKontrol but with the program ability of the Behringer BCR2000? I think he will have a lapto...

Knobby Controller Question

I'm setting up a friends gear and have a question regarding knobby controllers. He wants a separate control surface for each piece of gear. He has a Korg DW-8000, Casio CZ-101, Boss SE-50, Roland DEP-5, and an Alesis QuadraVerb. He wants to be able to control the synths and effects in real time. He ...

Re: Can someone help me with my Simmons SDS8 problem???

Try triggering it with your MPC. Assign a rimshot sound to an output on your MPC. Then run that into a trigger input on the Simmons. That should work.

Re: Realistic Moog MG-1 problem

I swapped them out and it looks like the CA3046 is indeed bad. I'm placing my order right now with Jameco. Thanks to both of you for your help.

Re: Realistic Moog MG-1 problem

I opened it up and had a look. The CA3046 chips are indeed socketed. Can I take the chip from Tone 1 and put it in the Tone 2 socket to see if it indeed bad. Also do any of you know a place that I can order CA3046 chips. I tried a local electronics parts store and they said that part has been replac...

Realistic Moog MG-1 problem

I have a Moog Mg-1 that has a faulty Tone 2. The other sound sources work well but without the Tone 2 working I can't get the ring mod sounds (Bell Tone). I've cleaned the slider in the Mixer section for Tone 2 but this didn't solve the problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Korg DDM-110

I had the same problem, but when I set it to external sync and started it from an external source, it worked. I used a Korg KMS-30 sync box to sync it to a Roland MC-202. Be aware that the clock signals of Korg is a different resolution than Roland and other analog drum machines.
