It's super easy. I can do it and I'm an idiot. :tard: Seriously, It's that same 3-pin Molex connecter setup. The hardest part is making the wiring harnesses to connect it to the SEMs and Keyboard Electronics. Looking at the Wiring Schematic, you would need four of the six wiring harnesses. Since the...

There isn't one value I can set that will rectify random timing errors on a note by note basis. It's not a latency problem as much as it is an accuracy problem. Instead of hi hats at 0, 240, 480, 720, I get 6, 237, 484, 719 when I record the sequence to audio. In my experience, Midisport = bad timing.

I have an 8x8 and a 4x4. Yes, they are sloppy(almost 7ms). It's not surprising the MOTU showed better results. But, I have no faith in any audio or midi device that communicates over usb. WORST...IDEA...EVER!! Why do I use them? Find me a midi patchbay that is not usb(or serial)....PLEASE! When I bo...

Hey Z! Nice acquisition! Not to worry, they are pretty easy to fix. You may have already gotten what you need from Bluesynths, here are some other sites that don't need registration... Schematics - everything is here, even both versions of the Keyboard Electronics. If you look at the TVS Wiring Sche...

look harder, youve probably got a few lying around...... rjd2 - between this and the Serena Williams query...you're killin me! Sorry, Mark, I kinda left that right over the plate. What I should have said was if you have a digital synth, you have a stable oscillator. Or a softsynth. Just set u...

I had the same issue w/ mine. Totally normal. I had to re-scale Osc2. If the oscillators go out of tune from each other as you go up or down the keys, it's the tracking/scale. The Source Service Manual(not owners) has good directions. The trimmers are not accessible from the exterior. The service ma...

Another vote for the Onyx series here. i went w/ the 1640. My first mixer was a 1202(not the VLZ) in 94. It still works and sounds great....and small animals have peed on it! After I outgrew it, I thought I could get by with a Behringer. When I got my 1640, I realized I was wrong. Briett is correct ...

I really wasn't a big fan of him, either. It was too hit and miss for me. BUT... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=H-4ZWyvPzaI&feature=related "He's a Liquid" was too cool for me. With one hand in his pocket, he's reaching out to a glowing white window :D . If I wrote an 80s "New Wave" book, that shot w...

So who got to eat the birds? Not me, dammit! Had to settle for Wendy's. I did think the LP cut through better than anything played on(or thru) the X7. Though, he only seemed to use it like 2-3 times. Also, the sound is alway muddy where I saw them. No matter who plays there. If your a South Park fa...

I just saw them last weekend. It was funny, you could identify that LP shape from the last row(before the lawn). While it was nice to hear it in action(Tom Sawyer  ), it still wasn't as impressive as the 4(I think) industrial size glass door rotisseries behind him. It looked like they were ...

Great topic! I'm really enjoying this. Here's my contribution: TVS-MinSeq This is from the Two-Voice. Not the best recording. It's just one SEM and the Mini-Sequencer. The MiniSeq is controlling the pitch/gate and filter. The filter is random, the pitch is not. I actually can't remember the patch se...
