Re: Sonic State King Korg review

why korg slopped out z1 engine?

supersaw synth (non-roland)

I think finally waldorf to be follwing a trend to supersaw osc. waldorf's supersaw is more later than novation. but I think that it is a good choice for rocket. I understand yamaha has exclusive right for fm synthesis technology. Sometimes I wonder roland don't have exclusive right for supersaw. Can...

Re: 8bit osc+Analog filter synth

monomachine is not analog. chiptune = digital ...why are you mentioning analog :? I think this is a key point. Not much room for "analogue warmth" in chiptune land. What you probably want is something with colourful DACs rather than an analogue filter. I just want dirty digital osc with analog 24db...

Re: 8bit osc+Analog filter synth

OTO Biscuit Last week I'm sold this machine. I don't like 12 db filter. I think SQ80 is more lofi(like ppg) than chip Have you ever used one? I don't have sq80. just using sq80l vsti and watching sq80 youtube videos. ESQ-1 or SQ-80? It's not analogue but the Monomachine can sound very NES or SID li...

Re: 8bit osc+Analog filter synth

Check Alex's video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhXTKiAbmow great video ESQ-1 or SQ-80? It's not analogue but the Monomachine can sound very NES or SID like. The ESQ and SQ80 have 8-bit digital waves and analog filters I'm assuming by specifying 8-bit oscillators you mean digital. I think SQ80 i...

I had a Shruti-1, but I don't use it all the time.
but I don't like this 8bit wavetable.
so I pounded the google looking for 8bit chiptune osc(nes or sid emulating).
If somebody else has an alternative synth please come up with it
