I like this. It sounds great. Maybe its UI isn't sophisticated like Nave and I hope it to be improve a bit but it is very usable as current state.

Yeah, the prototype does look mini (keys). Then it'll be very modest price..

Alesis IO dock is reported to be working with ipad4 so maybe it's basically supported?
I don't actually have an IO dock so I'm not sure, but it's taking audio without headphone amp right? I wonder how different the audio with or without thru the headphone amp.

When I was a poor college kid decades ago, I bought a Rhodes Model 660 just ONLY for the e-piano patch which I demoed in a music store. Real Rhodes or Yamahas were far beyond my reach then. I sold my DX21 to fund it. Well it's a pretty limited rompler and I was quickly disappointed by what it can do...

I miss mine so much which had to be left when I move. It's a great complex feature rich machine with really good sound. I had very little complaints: UI for arpaggiator is terrible, vocoder is somewhat weak, reverb is only on Micron.

Elektron A4 is new alternative especially for price/feature ratio considered. It can also do s-trigger/gate.

it's almost a modular synth with massive filter collection, you won't find anything in real analog for featurewise. Andromeda is a really nicer alternative, and comes with respectable price tag..
