SH2 prices

Any chances of finding an SH2 for the value of both my Tetra and MKS 50 combined ? is the SH9 more common and/or go for less ?

Re: your drum machine

Well, I was getting a Machinedrum MK 1, but it arrived DOA. (looked beat to h**l as well). :( Luckily, the seller is cool, and there doesnt seem to be any return fiasco looming. now, I am seriously thinking the MK 2 is the only way to go....a few hundred more bucks....just may be wroth it maybe... ???

Re: The Elektron Machinedrum Thread

has anyone used the Machinedrum with an external sequencer like an MMT-8 ? I use primary the MMT-8 to sequence all my synths on (with a PC361 as master controller), and I've been thinking about finally purchasing a Machinedrum UW now that Sweetwater is finally carrying them with the 2 year warranty....

that's great news..... I really hadn't expected it so soon. Perhaps that has been part of the hold-up in shipping. I had to buy a Zoom mrt-3b to take a little Gas off whilst waiting for the Blofeld to arrive. Doesn't sound to bad running through analog filters either.

I believe that everyone who already has one is having too much damn fun with the Blofeld to bother at the moment. I am patient....I have a good feeling about it. I should have mine within the month....

2 or 3 layers does quite nicely.....just like a cake.

So, Mr Rockit, how's it goin with your Blofeld ??? Have you sequenced with it yet?

Yes, I forgot about that .....that does stink....hopefully that will be a future fix. I usually just copy my sequencer-tracks over anyways, and reasign separate Midi channels, so it shouldnt be too big a deal. Strange they did that, but I suppose there is some reasoning behind it.

I'm wondering how the use of the Effects is going to cut in on available polyphony, as according to specs the Waldorf has "up to 25 voices." (I believe I read.) I plan on digging into that Multimode quite a bit.

So, come on Audiomidi, where's my Blo' already ?

I read about the low Volume prob on the Waldorf forum list. Wolfram assured that the problem would be shortly fixed in the next OS update. I dont think its going to be an issue for that much longer.

according to a lady at Audiomidi, they are expecting their first shipment of the Blofeld anytime. She also mentioned that the US distibutor has a shipment coming mid-March. Anyone else just get one in the US. More impressions ??? Can't wait..... Just praying there are no issues. I'm rather surprised...
