Are we talking about the same thing?

I thought that this thing had to be hard wired somehow.

How do you integrate Oberheim SEM into a studio?
I want to buy an oberheim SEM expander module. I know it doesn't have patch points - so how do I wire it into my studio? I know how to solder.... what else do I have to do? Do I need some other Oberheim gear to hook it up to?

Info on Building a Moog Modular?
I see a bunch of old MOOG modules available on the Bay. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how/where I can find info about building a case and PSU to hook these up to.
thanks

Question about the EMS Synthi
I recently visited the EMS site and it looks like they are still producing synths??
http://www.ems-synthi.demon.co.uk/emsprods.html
Does anyone know anything about the Synthi A and Synthi VCS3 and how they compare to the original model Synthi?

Cwejman vrs. Vostok MKII
I'm interested in getting a good modular (or semi-mod) that is rare and has a unique sound. I think I want either the Analog Solutions Vostok or the Cwejman S1 MKII
Wondering if anyone has experience with both and how they compare.

External Multi Effects Suggestions?
Hi all,
I'm looking for a really rich sounding multi efx processor with a ton of versatility and an overall awesome array of effects capabilities. I know there's a few out there, but I was hoping a few of you experienced ears here could help me make the right decision.
danke!

Doepfer A-100 Sequencer
What are the advantages to using the Doepfer seq as opposed to using an external seq to control it?
Is there a way to get more than eight steps out of it? Is there a way I can use the 4 "tracks" in sequence so that it' actually 32 steps?
Thanks!

Rhodes Mark I vrs. Mark II
Sorry, this isn't really "synth" related, but I'm sure someone can help me. I have an opportunity to buy either a rhodes mark I or mark II. I'm just curious what the difference is.
