I thought that this thing had to be hard wired somehow.

I want to buy an oberheim SEM expander module. I know it doesn't have patch points - so how do I wire it into my studio? I know how to solder.... what else do I have to do? Do I need some other Oberheim gear to hook it up to?

I see a bunch of old MOOG modules available on the Bay. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how/where I can find info about building a case and PSU to hook these up to.

So I guess for live improvisation it sounds like an analog seq is the way to go.

guess it looks like i'm gonna have to spend a bit more too for the quantizer and seq switch. to make it work best

in reference to above.. what's the trigger inverter good for?

What is the a-165 useful for? I read about it but can't yet imagine a practical scenario

What are the advantages to using the Doepfer seq as opposed to using an external seq to control it?

Is there a way to get more than eight steps out of it? Is there a way I can use the 4 "tracks" in sequence so that it' actually 32 steps?

Sorry, this isn't really "synth" related, but I'm sure someone can help me. I have an opportunity to buy either a rhodes mark I or mark II. I'm just curious what the difference is.
