Re: POST ANY INTERESTING EBAY / CRAIGSLIST LISTINGS HERE!!!

it's a scam whenever you see a listing with an image file instead of standard text containing an email asking you to contact them outside ebay. Another thing you will usually see is a lot of high end synths all in a row listed right after each other with the same price and to contact the seller thr...

Up here in Central New York we call "Newps" and they do have that connotation of belonging to a certain demographic here as well.

Re: Gear Envy.

I don't necessarily envy big studio setups. When I hear a certain synth demo or see a piece I would like to try, I won't deny that feel a desire to own one. I would love to have a OB-XA, CS-80, TR-808, Sunsyn, etc. but I have come to understand that sadly I am one of those who just likes to have gea...

Re: What was your first Moog?

MG-1 I bought last year off of E-bay for $300 shipped from the original owner I think. It came with the original box and manual and is in great shape. In my opinion, its bass that it can generate is "rounder" than the other synths I own and I think the only reason I would sell it is to perhaps get a...

Re: Say you are given Alec Empire's TR-909...

When I think of famous 909's, I don't think of Alec Empire. Richie Hawtin or Jeff Mills maybe, but not Alec. So then, who has the most famous 909 in the world? Alec's specific 909 is pretty famous, as it makes up the cover for one of his albums and used in promotion,s posters, articles etc. You'd n...
