Go play one. ;) Its just my personal opinion that some patches are reminiscent of the CS and Obie synths... Tweak it, play it, love it, take it home. I hate answers like that. I mean nothing personal to you. It's just that the reason I initially was asking this info is because I don't hav...

The 2X key action is c**p - useable for sure...but c**p....and will make you feel abit hesitant for spending so much on it. I did have a N3 back in the day...and cant honestly remember its action.....probably something similar to the 2X or 2 Dont buy the Nord for its key action.... DS yeah the key ...

The REAL Prophet 08 question.

Okay, P'08 owners... I'm really interested in buying one, and from all the demos that I've heard, it sounds like the P08 can get pretty Oberheimish, which I love. So my question is, can I replace my OBX-a with it. I know the P08 won't sound exactly like it, but if it gets close enough, then that's o...

Actually, there's a great way to warm up digital synths... high-end preamps. Like a Great River, etc. The only bad part is the price of a good preamp.

You play a mono differently. End of story. I don't care what trained background you come from, you just play a mono synthesizer completely different. I also agree that most true analog poly synths that have a mono mode, do not sound like a dedicated mono. But, everyone SHOULD have an analog poly aro...

i've been looking for a few pedals for my little phatty. how do you like the memory man on basses from the LP? I love the Memory Man on it. When engaged, the bass frequency remains intact, which can be a problem when using pedals on synths. I strongly disagree with the ol' "any pedal will do" cause...

You can get great ambient pads out of anything, all you need is some reverbs and delays in the mix. Lately, I've been getting killer pads out of my Nord Lead 3.

That's a good question. It's the same problem I have with my K-Station; it's not a Supernova. I love the KS sound and I have programmed a lot of great sounds on the X-Station. Really I think the X is a fantastic synth. The keys are amazing, it's well built, and the tone sounds good. With that said, ...
