That's a good question. It's the same problem I have with my K-Station; it's not a Supernova. I love the KS sound and I have programmed a lot of great sounds on the X-Station. Really I think the X is a fantastic synth. The keys are amazing, it's well built, and the tone sounds good. With that said, ...

id be interested to know what the VA section of the Wave uses - my bet will be the 2's oscilators through N3 filters.... DS That's the rumor I heard. I would love to actually play the damn thing if they ever release it. The added effects are a nice bonus. I know a lot of people are bummed for whate...

Yes on portamento; linear and exponential. There's a seperate breath menu. There is no seperate input. The X-Station responds to midi data sent by the wind controller, and there is nice grid for mapping out modulation and parameters. Also, if you're interested, I think I am going to sell my X-Statio...

How awesome would it be to have one of these!?

Could you imagine showing up to a gig with one. "Okay guys, where do I set up?"

How different IS the sound of the Nord 2X compared to the 3?
Does anybody own both or have played both? I own a NL3 and know it inside and out. Recently I have seen a plethora of bands live and have not seen a single 3, but rather NL 2X's. Now a live scenario is no way to judge a synth, but the 2X sounds a bit punchier to me, and most importlanly... less brig...

You don't need a multi-port midi sequencer, you just need one. Get yourself, an MPC, RS-7000, or computer running a sequencer program, and just midi up your gear. That's what the MIDI THRU is for. Midi out from the sequencer to the IN of the first rack, then midi THRU out from that piece into the mi...

I played an M3 61 thru 'phones at GC last weekend and I was blown away by the sheer quality of the sounds and interface, it is impressive, I kinda see it as a Oasys-lite proto Triton/Karma. Thinking about eBaying my trusty S90 and Triton EX when the fully-weighted hammer-action 88-key version comes...

Re: Gonna buy my school's Juno-106 Monday for $30
I saw that product on Ebay, and this isn't it, but it's sort of similar. They say "electronic music lab" on them, are made by some company called I.W. turner and are powered by 1 9 volt battery and have an on/off switch. An IC generally makes up for most of the brains of each little module. On the ...
