Absolutely excellent little track.

ps. is that just straight from the Spectralis?

Thanks. No outboard effects or other instruments. Just recorded directly into my PC with Adobe Audition.

Softer, poppier side of Spectralis

One of my first efforts from a few years ago that showed the electro-pop capabilities of the Spectralis:

Re: Spectralis 1 vs. Spectralis 2

Thanks again, Zamise, for the advice. That RS 7000 is something I've looked at before, but is just not my kind of thing. The Speckie probably won't be my only piece of gear, but it will be my centerpiece. When I owned it before, the Spectralis was my most prolific tool qualitatively, quantitatively ...

Re: Spectralis 1 vs. Spectralis 2

Thanks for the good info, z! I'm well aware of the complexity and depth of this monster-I've owned it before. I gave up on it because it would overpower all my other synths (except my Voyager), and I was spending all my time menu-diving. But, I've decided to sell mostly everything else I own and go ...

Spectralis 1 vs. Spectralis 2

Would there be any reason to get a Spectralis MK II instead of Spectralis MK I? I know the buttons are different and the interface layout has some minor changes, but I've heard that sonically they are identical. I actually kind of like the old school buttons on the MK I better. Are there any other q...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=VluukuJ0CZw#t=206s ?? looks like you miss switching to multi "edit" mode... Yikes! You saved me on this--THANKS! That has to be the only clear documentation anywhere on the Net about this new knob assignment/procedure. I spent hours looking f...

Blofeld v. 1.15 multi-mode--How do I change sounds?

I just updated to v. 1.15 on the desktop Blofeld and the multi-mode is quite different from the old v. 1.04 that I had. I can't find a way, when in multi-mode, to scroll through the individual sounds/soundbanks to choose a sound for each Part. Before (with 1.04) I could scroll thru with the selectio...

Showcase for Midibox Sids?

I've seen some very enticing Youtube videos of Midibox Sids in action, but I'm having a tough time finding a coherent online place to buy them pre-built. At the Midibox.org website, there's all kinds of technical forums about constructing these beasts and there's even a forum to ask permission from ...

Re: Best update for Blofeld desktop?

Most recent can always be found at the Waldorf website . v1.15 is the latest. v1.04 is pretty old... Thank you-I realize that, but I remember reading at some time that someone recommended not to update to such-and-such a version because the previous version was stable and the newest one had bugs. I...

I know it will work, I'm just curious if anyone has experience with the ease of the workflow on the Europa, and how well it coaxes out those great Blofeld sounds.

Blofeld with a Europa sequencer?

Has anyone sequenced a desktop Blofeld using an Analogue Solutions europa sequencer? I'm considering purchasing the Europa to use with my Blofeld, and the Youtube video of this demo was removed. I just want to find out any opinions or advice about this duo.

Thanks!
