Re: Roaches and bedbugs in my mixer....maybe.

Burn it, you can't get rid of bed bugs, burn your car too. Go to a gas station with a vacuum cleaner. Vacuum the s**t out of it, inside and out, triple check it, then do it 3 more times. Burn the clothes that you are wearing too. If you really think it has bed bugs, toss it. The pychological damage ...

Re: DrumBrute

Additional questions... 1) How is it in DIM light- or late night studio conditions? 2) The only sequencer part I saw noodled with was off-beat. Any hopes of the sequencer effects staying on beat and not throwing off the whole drum track? 3) Sync it to anything else yet? 4) How loud is the output? E...

Re: DrumBrute

Can it get very far outside the TR-x0x range of drum sounds? That was all I heard on the intro videos, but that could just as easily be omission rather than an actual limit for all I know. I personally don't think it has an XoX sound. The "909" kick, it's not really a 909 kick. The "808" kick sound...

DrumBrute

So, the DrumBrute arrived this weekend. The Flaws: 1. The power chord was a little short for my preference. 2. The outputs are 1/8 ,not really an issue. The main output is 1/4 though. 3. I wish the tom's were more editable. 4. The buttons, not sure if they will last 5 to 20 years. Overall, I do not ...

Re: Sequential Circuits DRUMTRAKS Tempo SET

Get the upgrade from Wine Country and that will dramaticlly improve its ability to be synced from other machines.

other than that I agree with ninja, embrace the drift, gives it character.

99.99% of guitars are mono.

If the cinematography is worth a damn, filming black and white is far more superior than color.

Re: Rehearsal amps, why?

I would look at any 80's solid state amp, loud, cheap, and a few stereo models.
I would look at Roland JC's.

Re: Your lifelong equipment list

Here is my list: I've owned more in past than I currently own now. If I made such a list, a deep sorrow would over take over me. Much gear has been flipped over the years.

Re: AKAI TomCat analog drum machine???

Are you guys going to get a drumbrute? Yes. It meets most of my needs/wants(no LCD,no menu diving, individual outs,a sequencer that is more than 16,32,48,64 or 16 A/B) from an analog drummachine and the price is right. If you search around on Instagram there is a decent amount of beta test video ups...
