Well, LFO is one of its primary functions, but I believe it supplies other general CV manipulatives, too. (attenuators, mixers, lag?, etc)

Distributed computing isn't quite that straight forward. It would probably be more realistic to devote each computer to a dedicated task, IE audio and midi/VST. You can always gigabit (or something similar) them together for quick transfers.

I'm pretty sure the batteries in those things are prone to exploding. No joke. They leak c**p all over the PCB.

Would you think it to be easy to diagnose what I need to do once I have the synth? Would you most likely attribute an entire mising voice to the VCA's?

How difficult would it be to fix broken voices on a CS-50?

I can get one for a very reasonably price, but the 3rd and 4th voices don't work apparently. Just curious as to what that might be attributed to.
I wouldn't mind turning it into a project for that wonderful sound.

Thank you very much for any help you might be able to give me.

I'd be happy to help. My only concern would be legality what with copyrights and all. I doubt any manufacturers would have an issue with sharing of general use manuals, but aren't service manuals typically sold individually to techs or something? *doesn't have a clue* Anyways, let me know if you eve...

It is essentially the same 24db LP filter that you will find in any moog synth, including the minimoog. It is probably 60-70% of the "moog sound" if thats what you're going for. The larger question is, what will you use it for? Do you have some other synth with gate/cv out that you can use to trigge...

Sounds like tri/saw mostly to me, though I could be mistaken... I wouldn't be so fast to discount your TI in a case like this, its probably the most qualified. The "bass" in a bass comes largely from your mixing/eq'ing. Also, if I'm not mistaken, a lowpass filter is the one that takes out the high f...

I would assume that all ARP products use the same CV standard... Not sure what it is but probably something common like v/oct. I'd imagine they'll play fine together if you just hook 'em up. You can get a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter at any radio shack or similar, just make sure the right contacts are hot (...

nine inch nails is designed for sales, not critical credibility. I'm pretty sure that would be news to Reznor. I mean, The Fragile was such a radio-friendly album with tons of pop hits. i dunno... there's a difference between making an inventive, non-mainstream album and making an album that just b...
