My goodness, that plant time lapse is amazing. How did you create that blue flickering light?

Re: I'm looking for a professional producer to improve my so

No need to flame the guy. Oh and it's great that you guys don't like dance music, it really is. I'm sure we all give a damn  Generally when someone goes on a rant in capital letters, writing words like "BOLLOCKS", like drunk mad man, they'll likely take a little flaming. And I'm pretty sure w...

Re: Phaedra iPad sequencer and Gameboy Advance Spritesmod MI

Cool track, but seriously, you need to get nanoloop. If you want to try it out you can download demo roms and run it in an emulator or if you want drop me a pm and I will send you one of my nanoloop 1(game boy version) carts which you can still use with the gba. Way more control over sound generati...

Re: Phaedra iPad sequencer and Gameboy Advance Spritesmod MI

Erm, by 'sustained', I didn't mean long release on amp envelope or anything. I just mean note pressed for e.g 8 bars, with probably fast release on env. Here, their most obvious track

Re: Phaedra iPad sequencer and Gameboy Advance Spritesmod MI

I love this. Obvious mix issues, although you left a disclaimer! I think sustained bass notes (postal service synth-bass) would have worked better than the rhythmic. Enjoyable all round though. Nice one. My earlier tracks had, kind-of, an '8-bit' element, even though I didn't compose with the intent...

Re: Simple recording audio with video capture question(s)

Who knows, you're complicating things. Record your audio. Shoot your footage, then sync them. Then upload.

Re: Simple recording audio with video capture question(s)

Yeah, what Stab said. I used to shoot gigs with a decent DSLR and an average audio recorder.

Tip; still record audio to your camera, so when it comes to syncing your footage with the audio from the audio recorder, you can align the waveforms

Re: Digital Re-Surgeance: Holy Grail?

I've owned a museum of digital rushes of blood to the head in the last decade. The MS2000 has been the most enjoyable and useful for me.

Re: Melodies, modulations and a vocal sample

Ha, well I've made some good stuff in my time with VSTs. And Ii fear that what I'm about to put forward is generic soft vs hard pro/con. Anyway, my approach to music has always been pencil tool, draw notes, loop, tweak, design sound and then layer. Although, within the last year I've played a Juno 1...

Re: Melodies, modulations and a vocal sample

Thanks, I find that style fun to make! NI Massive was the source of sounds, a terrific modulation VST. I've had it with software sounds though, finally. Cheers again

Melodies, modulations and a vocal sample

Melodic electronica and pitch LFO heaven, but the last unsatisfying software composition before hardware, guitars and pedals re-enter my life and inspire.

Enjoyably quirky though I think!

Re: Lexicon MX-200. Opinions?

I found it a very nice multi-fx for post rock guitar sounds - much fun to be had with, for example, random LFO modulation / simultaneous echo patches etc etc
