Re: Yamaha CS15 pitch drift

thanks, The synth is marked 100v and when I got it I was told it would work fine without an adapter but I will get a converter now just in case. Just so everyone knows my friend bought this synth a year ago and it was still in the plastic. So the abuse of it being run at 120v has been pretty minimal...

Yamaha CS15 pitch drift

My CS-15 has started drifting out of tune real bad about every 5 minutes. I am running it off of 120v even those it is supposed to take 110v? Could this be the reason for the drift? The room it is in now, since i noticed the problem, is a bit hotter then the one before.
Thanks,
michael

Re: Modular Synth Terminology

MOTM and Modcan are a 5U format but, synthesizers.com, suit and tie guy, etc. are technically not this format because they will not fit into standard rackmount spacing. These are referred to as M.U. "moog units".

Re: Vince Clark's new studio

nice gear list, but he could make better sounds with that ;) I feel confident to say Vince Clarke has a very distinct style of playing and sounds he programs on his records. So I guess the sounds being "awesome" would be an opinion. He's does not make use of many pad like sounds and all parts are m...

Re: What synth (s) you own but haven't played for over 1 year

I would not say a whole year ever goes by without use but my least used synths are;
Poly800, microkorg, cz-1000, DX7, and Farfisa Fast 5(organ). And lately I have been considering selling all of these to help fund a proper Analog poly.
